About the Practice
Jonathan Trager, M.D. is the founder of Telederm Kidz. As a Board-Certified Pediatric Dermatologist and Board-Certified Pediatrician, Dr. Trager provides online diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of skin disorders in infants, children, and teenagers.
Designed for busy parents who may not have time for an office visit, our secure TeleDerm Kidz platform lets you schedule a live virtual visit with Dr. Trager who will:

Is Telederm Kidz secure?
Yes. The Telederm Kidz platform, VSee, is secure and fully HIPAA compliant.
How quickly can I get an online consultation?
Our goal is to provide an online video consultation within 24 to 48 hours.
What if my child's skin condition is urgent? Can I do a same day consult?
Same day consults may be available for urgent conditions. However, Telederm Kidz is NOT desinged for medical emergencies. Medical emergencies should be seen promptly in an urgent care center or emergency room.
Can all pediatric skin conditions be managed online?
While most pediatric skin conditions can be managed online, certain condtions must be seen and managed in person. This will be at the discretion of Dr. Trager.
Can I use health insurance to pay for the online visit?
Telederm Kidz does not accept health insurance. All prices are out of pocket.
I am outside of New York State. Can I still do a Telederm Kidz consultation?
No. You must be physically located in New York State to do a Telederm Kidz consultation. However, more states are on the way!
What if I prefer an in-person consultation?
No problem! In-person perdiatric dermatology visits are done in our Great Neck, NY office (29 Barstow Road, Suite #201, Great Neck, NY 11021). Just call 516-482-5400 to set up an appointment.
