Jonathan Trager, MD

Jonathan Trager, MD, is a board-certified physician with a holistic philosophy focused on treating the whole person—mind and body—not just symptoms. He provides expert pediatric dermatology care to patients online through TeleDerrm Kidz, headquartered in Great Neck, New York, as well in-person visits in his private practice at 29 Barstow Road, Suite #201A, Great Neck, New York 11021.

Dr. Trager is uniquely distinguished as the only physician in the United States board-certified in the four specialties of Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, Dermatology, and Pediatric dermatology. He further expanded his whole-person approach through a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the guidance of integrative medicine pioneer Andrew Weil, M.D.

A native of Bayside, New York, Dr. Trager earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Trager completed two residencies and a fellowship at leading institutions, including the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and Mount Sinai Medical Center. In addition to publishing medical research, Dr. Trager has taught at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Winthrop University Hospital, and Flushing Hospital Medical Center. He is on staff at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY, part of Northwell Health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Trager enjoys classical music, language study, and science fiction writing, remaining deeply engaged in the Great Neck community he serves.

Dr. Trager believes that all children and teens shoulde have online access to a Board-Cerfitied Pediatric Dermatologist at a reasonable cost.  This is why he founded Telederm Kidz.  And New York State is just a start!
